GTA 6 gameplay leak : 5 major things in this game

GTA 6 was leaked in 2022 earlier this month before it was officially revealed and that event revealed a lot about the online game. Players also got to know some of the new features of the title, its setting, and even the main characters. Although the leaked video clips have mostly been removed from the internet due to legal issues, sometimes they resurface

Since Rockstar Games officially unveiled Grand Theft Auto 6 with its first trailer on December 5, 2023, fans have been extremely curious to know more about it. As expected, this video confirms a lot of what was revealed in the 2022 leak, but there is still a lot left to know.

So here are five things seen in the 2022 gameplay leak that give a glimpse of what the upcoming game will be like.

1) Realistic weapon system

Unlike previous Grand Theft Auto games, players will no longer be able to carry a large arsenal of weapons in their pockets. The 2022 leak revealed that the upcoming title’s weapon system will be similar to that of Red Dead Redemption 2, another open-world title from Rockstar that focuses more on realism.

2) Multiple regions of Leonida

The trailer revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will take place state in Florida. However, the 90-second clip mostly focused on Vice City, which is Miami’s version of Rockstar.

As previously revealed by GTA 6’s Vice City map leak, there are several new areas in the title in addition to its main city. The game features a wetland area based on the Everglades as well as several towns such as Hamlet and Port Gellhorn.

Other rural areas include Kelly County, Wise-dale County, and Leonard County. Their real-life counterparts appear to be Collier County, Miami-Dade County, and Broward County, respectively. Some of these were seen in the trailer, while some were only seen in leaks.

3)Improved NPC behavior

A scene from the GTA 6 gameplay leak shows the protagonist duo robbing a restaurant and taking its customers hostage. In earlier games, an NPC would attempt to drive a bus whenever the player fired a gun. However, when you were inside – especially in GTA 4 – some civilians would lurk in their location.

In the leaked clip, they seem to react in a more realistic manner, creating a believable hostage scenario. The police also respond appropriately; Whenever a crime occurs they do not appear immediately as is the case in GTA 5. Another scene shows some NPCs interacting with each other, and one of them is interacting with the player character Jason.

4)Two protagonists

The 2022 GTA 6 gameplay leak spread rumors of there being two protagonists in the game which are true. Insiders such as Jason Schreier claimed that the title would feature a white man and a Latina woman as the two playable protagonists. Their names were also revealed as Jason and Lucia respectively

It was also mentioned that players would be able to switch between characters at will. That said, like the earlier games, it will likely only unlock after reaching a certain point in the story.
